This needs assessment is for adult students who are Russian-Speaking IT professionals. The vast majority of them work as software developers for large IT companies in Russia and their main goal is to improve their English language communication skills to become more professional in their field or to apply for a job abroad.
A lot of them have a degree in IT, have families and in their 30s. They have already expressed high interest in improving their communication skills but the teacher needs to have better understanding about their current English proficiency level, their main goals and situations where they are required to speak English.
All of them prefer working on a computer so I decided to go with the questionnaire made with the help of Google docs.
